The day we got into Arizona was a crazy one! We left Albany at like 6:40 or something crazy and then my brother, Larry and his family flew into the airport that night at like 8 and we all went to see him so I and the boys were completely exhausted by the time we got to the Ellsworth's to sleep! All things considering though, I wouldn't have changed a single bit of it! Being with family is the greatest, ever!
We never changed planes, just landed in Chicago. During the inbetween time while the airplane was stocked, the new pilot was nice enough to invite Kalvin and Tristen to come to the front and learn how the airplane works. THEY LOVED IT! And Tristen talked about sitting up with the pilot MANY times while we were in Arizona (I think he thought he'd be going back for a tour again on the way home).
Both boys had backpacks, but really, I think all we really needed was the tablet, headphones and a few diapers (I've trained my boys well, to sit through movies....).

That night we were at the airport for like 2-2.5 hours waiting for Larry and his wife to come in, but the weather was awesome and we loved it!
I think Grandma got Willy to sleep. My back was getting pretty tired of carrying him.

Wow! How fun and what a great memory for Kalvin and Tristen to have got to sit up in the cock pit of such a big plane and then to get such detailed instructions from the pilot!!!How cool!!! How cool!!! No wonder Tristen talked abou it so many times!!!
